The North Penn School District is seeking a District HVAC Mechanic to maintain and repair districtwide HVAC systems, chillers, and building automation controls. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, PA driver’s license, EPA refrigerant certification, and at least five years of HVAC maintenance experience.

Work schedule is 40 hours per week, year-round, with pay rates of $37.44 to $40.77 per hour. The successful candidate will troubleshoot, install, and service equipment across campuses

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of technical/vocational school or apprenticeship program.
• Valid PA driver's license.
• Current EPA Refrigerant Certification.
• Minimum of five years HVAC maintenance and repair experience.

Mansioni

• Maintains, repairs, and installs heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, control systems and related equipment throughout the district.
• Troubleshoots diagnoses, and determines repair needs for chillers, boilers and/or control problems.
• Installs, maintains and repairs cooling towers, chillers, pumps, motors, compressors, pneumatic and DDC controls and related components of HVAC systems.
• Tests systems for leaks, faults, and pressure/charge loss.
• Performs preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC systems and equipment.
• Understands electronic building automation systems and operates/modifies programming per policy.
• Orders materials as needed.
• Keeps basic work records using an electronic district maintenance management system.
• Assist other district maintenance personnel in performing tasks as assigned.
• Performs snow and ice removal as directed.
