Job summary

The Sanders Unified School District seeks a Business Manager to oversee the district's financial, administrative operations and ensure compliance with state regulations. Reports to the Superintendent and HR Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business or Accounting; Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of school budgeting, accounting, and data processing.
• Experience in public school business policies and procedures.
• Excellent computer skills and writing abilities.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor the annual budget.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash management.
• Prepare financial reports for the Superintendent and Governing Board.
• Procurement, contracts, and fixed assets management.
• Coordinate HR benefits and safety protocols.
• Provide data-driven, long-range financial planning.
