Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Seven years of accounting experience; leadership in school district finance preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Google platforms, and SmartFusion software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budget management, accounting functions, and financial reporting.
• Supervise Finance Department staff to meet district goals.
• Coordinate annual audits and prepare financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with GASB, GAAP, and applicable regulations.
• Assist with payroll operations and district-wide payroll records.
• Monitor grant funds and Medicaid billing information monthly.
• Collaborate with district administrators on annual budget development.
• Maintain accurate records and financial data for leadership review.
