Job summary

Keller ISD is seeking an Electrical Licensed Technician to maintain, repair, and install electrical systems across district facilities in Fort Worth, Texas. This non-exempt, full-time role reports to the Director of Grounds and Maintenance and requires a valid Texas journeyman license and relevant experience.

Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, interpreting blueprints, and coordinating with school staff to schedule projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with a clear record of safe driving
• Valid TDLR journeyman electrician license
• Four (4) years successful experience in electrical field

Responsibilities

• Install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, control and distribution apparatus, and components following electrical code.
• Diagnose and resolve problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment and test continuity of circuits.
• Install and connect power supply wiring, cables, conduit, and electrical apparatus for machines and equipment in new and existing facilities.
• Measure, assemble, and install electrical conduit using measuring devices and tools.
• Respond to emergency calls as needed.
• Receive and complete work orders and maintain accurate records on material and labor used.
• Maintain inventory of district-owned tools, equipment, and materials.
• Work with principals and supervisors to schedule and complete projects.
