Job summary

Raymond School District SAU #33 seeks a Technology Director to lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the district's technology infrastructure and educational technology initiatives across all schools. The role works with administrators, educators, and IT staff to align strategy with learning goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; master's degree preferred
• Several years of experience in educational technology leadership roles
• Strong understanding of K-12 education systems and technology integration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to educational technology

Responsibilities

• Develops district-wide technology philosophy and practices to coordinate and equitably extend capabilities across sites
• Implements the District Technology Plan and remains current with emerging issues in technology
• Chairs Technology Committee and leads staff training on technology use
• Supervises technicians and consultants; supports curriculum revision to integrate technology
• Ensures technology in all curricular areas enhances student learning and problem solving
• Maintains hardware/software inventories and plans future acquisitions to avoid duplication
• Provides on-site technical assistance and disaster recovery planning
• Seeks grants and donations to support technology goals
• Manages technology budget with building principals and coordinates with providers
