Job summary

HOMEWOOD-FLOSSMOOR COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT 233 is seeking a Director of Accountability to oversee Illinois State reporting and data governance. You will coordinate data across PowerSchool, ISBE requirements, and district leadership teams to drive continuous improvement.

The role requires strong analytical, organizational and technical skills, with a focus on building a data culture across the district. This is a 12-month, full-time position with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be eligible to meet and maintain proper certification as established by state law and the Illinois State Board of Education (Type 75).
• Must possess administrative experience.
• Has demonstrated the leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with students, teachers and parents.
• Must be able to interpret educational policy, procedures and data.
• Must possess strong organizational, communication (written and oral), public relations and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess strong technological skills and data platform expertise

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective meetings, provide results-oriented staff development; promote effective collaborative team protocols in data analysis.
• Serve as the district SIS lead, maintain and upload all data for the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
• Develop a comprehensive progress monitoring data dashboard for interventions and supports.
• Arrange and facilitate district and school data leadership meetings.
• Work with school and district leadership teams to establish a cycle for data collection, analysis, evaluation and reporting processes.
• Plan and participate in training sessions for data input in district systems and use of data from PowerSchool.
• Attend all District Leadership Team meetings and assist in leading the District Improvement Planning.
• Collect and analyze school data for district level reporting from a variety of sources and teams including, but not limited to, Collaborative Teams (PLC), School Leadership, MTSS and Student Support Teams.
• Develop a comprehensive, systemic approach to analyzing data relevant to mandated school reporting via multiple district platforms prior to uploading into PowerSchool and other district data platforms.
• Plan and provide professional development for data collection, management and analysis for staff, parents and leadership.
