Job description

District Chefs needed for school food service program in the Ocean, Atlantic and Cumberland Counties, NJ areas. Monday through Friday, full time position.

Responsibilities:

1. Must have experience in operations management.
2. Must have experience in catering and working in a professional kitchen preparing meals for 300+ people.
3. Must be able to perform a Chef test.
4. Culinary, K-12 experience a plus.
5. Creating different menu items while adhering to school food service guidelines (NSLP).
6. Placing food orders.
7. Inventory management.
8. Able to lift 50lbs.
9. Able to travel within the district.

Qualifications:

1. ServSafe certification a plus.
2. Experience with Microsoft and Google applications.
