Job summary

Pueblo School District 60 is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead the financial accounting for the district and its schools. The role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is based at the Administrative Service Center, with a 220‑day work year under the APT Salary Schedule - Lane H.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field and at least five years in budget/financial accounting, plus a background check.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Five (5) years of experience in budget management, analysis, or accounting
• Fingerprint-based background check required
• English communication proficiency required

Responsibilities

• Daily Cash Control
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for all funds
• Reconcile investment accounts and review bank reconciliations
• Supervise, train, and evaluate Accounting Staff
• Ensure internal controls are in place and followed by staff
• Manage implementations of new software modules and training
