Qualifications

Job description

NOW HIRING!! Distributor Truck Driver (CDL Class A) Tanker Endorsement!!

Job duties & responsibilities:

1. Help on the Asphalt crew when not driving; assist with spraying tack oil and prime.
2. Knowledge of and safe operation of truck; Hazmat endorsement is a plus.
3. Ensure quality of product delivered.
4. Follow all safety and environmental procedures.
5. Assist other drivers as necessary; report delays/problems to dispatcher.
6. Deliver product in a timely and safe manner, following designated routes to and from job sites.
7. Maintain safe and mechanical operation of truck.
8. Operate all functions of tack oil or prime delivery; maintain truck after each delivery and prepare for the next day.
9. Follow all DOT rules and regulations, as outlined by the Safety Department.
10. Wear personal protective equipment as required.

Qualifications:

1. Must have Class A CDL License.
2. Must have Tanker Endorsement.
3. Pass DOT drug screen and physical.
4. 5+ years CDL driver experience.
5. Hazmat endorsement is desired but not mandatory.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

1. Lift objects of various sizes and weights.
2. Ability to climb stairs, ladders, reach, squat, stand/walk for prolonged periods, balance, bend from truck, crawl, kneel, push, and pull objects.
3. Tolerate working outdoors in all weather conditions.
