Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in King’s Mountain, NC is seeking a Distribution Warehouse Supervisor to lead a skilled team and ensure efficient, on-time delivery of our snacks. You will guide loaders and operators, monitor inventory, and uphold quality and food-safety standards across shifts.

Responsibilities include training staff, coordinating outbound shipments, and collaborating with production facilities to minimize shortages.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a leadership role
• Working knowledge of logistics processes
• Ability to obtain forklift certification
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and databases
• Time management and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Willingness to cover other shifts as needed
• Adhere to safety and GMP practices

Responsibilities

• Leads and assists warehouse crew including Loaders, Unloaders, Jockeys, Conveyor Operators, Finished Good Handlers and Leads
• Oversees inventory control processes for the shift/building
• Manages outbound shipment mail bags and trailer/door assignments
• Ensures accurate trailer numbers and door assignments for deliveries
• Addresses issues that arise during shifts
• Investigates and reports shift incidents and safety concerns
• Ensures orders are confirmed in the system and shipments are accurate
• Communicates with production facilities to minimize shortages
• Monitors cube utilization and signs off on finished orders
• Trains associates on procedures and safety
• Initiates process improvements with the Logistics Manager
• Supports safety, quality and GMP adherence
• Flexibility to cover other shifts when needed
• Maintains D365 entries accurately for the team
• Performs other warehouse duties as assigned
