Job summary

The Vincit Group in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient day to day operation of the ZECO distribution warehouse. He or she will supervise warehouse personnel to ensure deliveries and shipments are accurate and in line with company specifications.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience in distribution or warehouse management, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to manage shifting priorities while maintaining a safe, organized

Qualifications

• Unrestricted employment authorization to work in the US.
• High school diploma or GED required; higher degrees preferred.
• 3+ years’ supervisory experience in distribution or warehouse management.

Responsibilities

• Wear mandatory PPE at all times.
• Coordinate and ensure the safe and correct distribution of finished goods and raw materials to external and internal customers, meeting DOT and company regulatory standards.
• Manage the day to day activities of shipping clerks and transfer drivers.
• Train personnel, appraise performance, resolve problems, and address staffing needs.
• Work with Shipping Coordinator to stage and load LTL and TL shipments.
• Follow all bar code scanning requirements during the inventory and shipping processes.
• Ensure all material is stored properly and at the right temperature according to product specifications.
• Coordinate and schedule warehouse activities to meet and exceed customer expectations, while optimizing loads and minimizing work hours.
• Support order fulfillment process by working extensively with customer service, production personnel, shipping and Pro Logistics.
• Ensure standardization and implementation of best practices across all warehouse and distribution functions.
• Complete other duties and special projects upon request.
