Distribution Warehouse Forklift Operator

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., producer of Yellawood brand Pressure-Treated Pine, is seeking Combi-Lift and forklift operators. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Essential Duties

• Drive trucks and operate lifting apparatus by moving levers and pressing pedals.
• Position forks, lifting platforms, or other devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials, and transport loads to designated areas.
• Pull custom, specialized orders for customers and package orders with care.
• Inventory materials on the work floor and supply workers as needed.
• Lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Follow work procedures and safety policies/procedures.
• Maintain strong attention to detail.
• Work effectively in team environments.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 6 months of distribution warehouse experience.
• At least 6 months of forklift operating experience.
• Combi-Lift experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with scan gun devices.
• Reliable transportation.
