Alcon Johns Creek, GA is seeking a Distribution/ Warehouse Associate (Technician 2) for the Material Distribution team. The role involves manual and clerical shipping/receiving duties at our Johns Creek facility, using RF scanners and warehouse systems to maintain data accuracy.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, fluency in English, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Monday–Friday shift with potential overtime supports continuous operations in a busy manufacturing

We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon.As a **Distribution / Warehouse Associate (Technician 2)** supporting our **Material Distribution team**, you will be trusted with performing a combination of manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties which may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data at our **Manufacturing Facility** in **Johns Creek, GA**.**In this role, a typical day will include:*** Outbound: Maintain operational Knowledge of all automated equipment and have ability to train personnel in the operation of any automated equipment.* Coordinate with Inbound on replenishment of inventory for automated equipment and manual pick locations.* Assist Distribution Technician 3 in monitoring and levelling of workload assignments within and between work areas.* Ability to be proficient in problem solving of Special Handling area and ability to assist in order allocation.* RF Cluster Picking, OSR Replenishment, RF Cart Build, RF Audit Counting and RF Put Away.* Ensure inventory integrity in the pick locations through cycle count process.* Maintain a clean and organized work area.* Ensures quality checks and order verification using CRTs for loose pick, assembly process and LTL shipments and/or by visual inspection and comparison to the manual pick list.* Ensure employees (and self) are operating with heightened focus on quality and compliance along with strict adherence to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Current Good Documentation Practices (cGDP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).**Essential Functions:*** Able to effectively work within Red Prairie to work aged order reports.* Ability to run area of automated equipment as well as manage a contingent workforce.* Works with Business Systems to help resolve issues with orders.* Works with Equipment Services to resolve any equipment issues.**WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:*** High School Diploma or Equivalent* The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English* Work Hours: 1st shift; Monday-Friday; 6:30am-3pm with occasional overtime on weekends* Travel Requirements: None* Relocation assistance: No* Sponsorship available: No**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:*** Familiarity with RF Scanners used in the order picking process* Familiarity with different warehouse management systems and the ability to adapt to changing situations.* Ability to lift up to 40lbs unassisted* Computer literacy* Good mathematical skills**HOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON:*** Join Alcon’s mission to provide outstanding, innovative products and solutions to improve sight, improve lives, and grow your career!* Collaborate with teammates to share standard processes and findings as work evolves!* See your career like never before with focused growth and development opportunities!* Alcon provides robust benefits package including health, life, retirement, flexible time off for exempt associates, PTO for hourly associates, and much more!
