GEMCO Medical, a well-established and growing healthcare distribution company shipping over 15,000 packages a day with detailed accuracy, has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for Warehouse Associates whose function includes shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and facility maintenance services.

• The warehouse is fully air-conditioned in summer and heated in the winter.

• Clean environment: not dusty, dark, or dirty.

• No protective clothing required. Dress code is comfortable clothing (sneakers, t-shirts, jeans, etc. all acceptable).

• Full-time schedule available is Monday through Friday; 12:15 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (with shift differential).

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket and customer requirements.

• Package and ship orders in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods and practices.

• Unload, sort, count, package, and label inventory that is received.

• Operate distribution center equipment including forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.

• Utilize WMS RF scanner for various distribution center activities.

Core Competencies

• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.

• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds (occasionally).

Education/Experience

• Previous forklift and reach truck certification is preferred.

• Attention to detail.

• General math, computer, and reading comprehension skills.

• Willingness to accept responsibility and work in a multi-task environment as part of a team.

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
