Milton CAT is seeking a Distribution Warehouse Associate for the 3rd shift in Milford, MA. The role involves picking, packing, loading for delivery, and ensuring shipment accuracy while operating material handling equipment and using WMS/RF scanners.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, proficiency with computers, and strong communication skills. OT and safety adherence are expected in a fast-paced distribution center environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Pay Rate: Union Position paid at $25.76/hr

Note: This position is a full-time 3rd shift position. Working hours for full-time are Monday-Friday from 11:00pm - 7:30am.

The Distribution Warehouse Associate is responsible for following established procedures while carrying out various functions in a manner that reflects the company's commitment to exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Pick, pack, wrap and load product for delivery to customers.
  • Ensure accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Safe operation of all material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.
  • Receive merchandise and stock shelves.
  • Assists with inventory procedures as requested.
  • Participates in physical inventory counts, as assigned, to verify the accuracy of parts on hand.
  • Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules, and regulations.
  • Utilize computerized WMS (warehouse management system) and RF scanners.
  • Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.
  • Making of hydraulic hoses to include cutting, fitting, crimping, and operation of hose assembly tooling.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Proficient in the use of a computer and related software
  • Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency, exceeding customer expectations
  • Able to lift 75 pounds; up to 45 pounds on an unassisted basis, repetitively.
  • Able to work at heights up to 25 feet
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy, and strong problem-solving and organization skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced distribution center environment, and work extended hours as needed
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • The ideal candidate has experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System) software
  • Forklift Certification preferred
