Responsibilities

Responsible for processing blood product orders, preparing shipments, inspecting final products, organizing inventory, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Maintains accurate records and manages shipments and inventory returns.

  • Handle customer orders with friendliness, understanding, and professionalism.
  • Monitor and acknowledge orders via online system.
  • Communicate courteously with customers and handle calls effectively.
  • Classify and process orders based on urgency, and arrange transportation.
  • Select units, perform product modifications, and handle irradiation processing as needed.
  • Stock and reorganize inventory, inspect returned products, and maintain equipment.
  • Prepare shipment boxes, manage interstate shipments, and handle nonconforming products.
  • Ensure proper packaging for temperature control and ship biohazard materials appropriately.
  • Respond to alarms and maintain regular attendance.
  • Uphold CBC's Customer Service Mission and Core Values.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (transcript required).
  • Previous customer service or related experience.
