Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a detail-oriented Distribution Technician to ensure our customers receive high-quality label products on time. If you value a zero-defect mindset and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

You will inspect, separate, and package label products, perform final quality checks, log materials in our digital tracking system, coordinate with couriers for on-time deliveries, and keep a safe, organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow SOPs and PPE requirements.

What You Will Do (Day-to-Day)

• Precision Finishing: Accurately inspect, separate, and package label products according to specific quality standards and customer instructions.
• Quality Assurance: Act as the final checkpoint for shipments, identifying any printing or lamination errors before they reach the customer.
• Logistics Support: Utilize our digital tracking systems to log materials and coordinate with couriers to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and PPE requirements.

Who You Are (Qualifications)

• Detail-Oriented: You have a "close vision" for accuracy and can distinguish colors to meet high-quality specifications.
• Reliable: You understand that punctuality and consistent attendance are vital to the team's success.
• Adaptable: You are willing to step outside your assigned duties to help a coworker or adjust to shifting production priorities.
• Physical Agility: Comfortable standing for your shift and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Starting Hiring Rate:

$17-18/hr

Potential Shifts:

Day Shift: Sunday - Tuesday 5am - 5pm, Wednesday 5am - 11am

Day Shift: Wednesday 11am - 5pm, Thursday - Saturday 5am - 5pm

Night Shift: Sunday - Tuesday 5pm - 5am, Wednesday 5pm - 11pm

Night Shift: Wednesday 11pm - 5am, Thursday - Saturday 5pm - 5am
