Job Description for Warehouse Associate at Owens & Minor

Shift: Monday - Friday, 3pm, plus mandatory overtime as required

Pay: $19.50/hour

Responsibilities include performing warehouse tasks such as unloading shipments, replenishing stock, picking, packing, and loading products, primarily without the use of Material Handling Equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving inbound shipments
• Order picking using RF scanners or Voice Pick Technology
• Sorting and loading outbound products
• Maintaining safety and accuracy standards

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to manually unload pallets and cases using pallet jacks
• Experience with RF equipment and Voice Pick Technology preferred
• Ability to perform basic math and physical tasks
• Dependability and good attendance
• Willingness to learn new equipment and technology

Additional Requirements:

• Successful passing of pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Ability to work unscheduled overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to operate forklifts and reach high shelves safely
• Ability to stand, walk, squat, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
• Effective communication skills in English
