Distribution Team - Equipment Operator - Hiring for all shifts!

Performs warehouse tasks within the facility, primarily without the use of Material Handling Equipment (such as cherry picker, reach truck, double reach, sit down forklift, motorized pallet jack, etc.). Unloads, receives, and processes inbound shipments. Performs bin replenishment, moves product around the distribution center to ensure efficient processing, and prepares pick locations. Accurately picks, packs, sorts, and loads outbound products in accordance with customer specifications. Ensures warehouse functions are completed safely, accurately, and on time within company standards.

Shifts

Responsibilities

Receiving

• Unloads pallets and cases from inbound trailers and/or containers manually using the pallet jack.
• Accurately counts, verifies, and receives product using radio frequency (RF) equipment and/or Voice Pick Technology; documents variances.

LUM Picking

• Selects products and quantities as directed by Voice Pick Technology and/or RF scanner and places items into totes on conveyor belt.
• Removes empty cartons from pick module as needed.

Sortation

• Prepares sortation area by setting up pallets and carts for product.
• Moves cartons and totes from conveyor belts and/or rollers and places on pallets and/or carts according to assigned batch.

Loading

• Uses RF scanner to ensure correct loading of totes, pallets, and carts onto trucks for delivery.
• Uses pallet jack to load pallets.

General Requirements For All Functions

• Follow process procedures and safety policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Report hazards and follow safety protocols.
• Place incoming merchandise into inventory and conduct physical inventories as required.
• Perform basic math calculations and maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as directed.

Education & Experience

• Basic knowledge of math, reading, and typing.
• Experience in a warehouse/distribution center is a plus.
• Warehouse/Operations certification is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
