Job summary

Owens & Minor is hiring a Distribution Teammate - Equipment Operator for all shifts. You will unload, receive, and process inbound shipments and perform bin replenishment to support efficient distribution.

You will pick, pack, sort, and load outbound products ensuring accuracy and timely delivery in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Role requires RF/Voice Pick tech familiarity, ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of a variety of basic topics (math, reading, basic accounting, typing, etc.)
• Prior experience working in a warehouse/distribution center a plus
• Warehouse/Operations certification a plus
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form

Responsibilities

• Receiving: Unloads pallets and cases from inbound trailers and/or containers using pallet jack and verifies with RF or Voice Pick technology.
• LUM Picking: Selects products directed by Voice Pick Technology or RF scanner and places items into totes.
• Sortation: Prepares sortation area, moves cartons and totes to pallets/carts per batch.
• Loading: Uses RF scanner to confirm totes/pallets are loaded onto trucks; operates pallet jack as needed.

Unloads, receives, and processes inbound shipments. Performs bin replenishment, moves product around the distribution center to ensure efficient processing, and prepares pick locations. Accurately picks, packs, sorts and loads outbound products in accordance with customer specifications.
