Ameren Illinois is seeking a Distribution System Operating Supervisor to lead field personnel in the safe, efficient operation and restoration of the electric distribution system in central and southern Illinois. The role involves directing dispatch, maintaining system reliability, and coordinating maintenance across subtransmission and distribution networks; a 24/7 operation with rotating shifts.

The Distribution System Operating Supervisor is responsible for directing field personnel in the operation of the subtransmission and distribution system in a safe and cost effective manner to ensure continuity of electric service to customers as well as restore electric service to customers in a timely manner.
Additional Information Ameren’s selection process includes a series of interviews and may include candidate testing and/or an individual aptitude or skill-based assessment. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates. Training class will be on a M-F schedule. Please note, this is a 24/7 operation, schedules subject to change after successful completion of training class. Total of 3 open positions are available. Compensation Range: $84,400.00 - $162,900.00. This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends upon applicant's credentials. At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
