Job summary
HR Services Brand seeks a Distribution Supervisor to support the Distribution Manager in the daily operation of the warehouse and distribution department, ensuring efficient operations, shipment accuracy, on-time deliveries, and inventory integrity while overseeing FedEx, UPS, and outbound shipments.
The role also serves as backup for the Warehouse Operator handling FedEx/UPS processing and requires leadership to train staff on shipping procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in warehouse, shipping, distribution, or logistics.
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Experience with FedEx, UPS, LTL, and carrier documentation.
- Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Direct daily warehouse and distribution activities with the Distribution Manager.
- Ensure shipments are processed accurately and shipped on time.
- Monitor outbound shipments and verify FedEx/UPS compliance.
- Train and coach warehouse personnel on shipping procedures.
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Production, Planning, and Purchasing.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts.
- Prepare shipping documents and carrier paperwork as required.
- Support safety and housekeeping standards.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety and productivity.
