Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a warehouse supervisor to oversee multiple departments within the distribution center, including case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment. The role provides direction and motivation to warehouse associates while ensuring safety, productivity, and quality.

Responsibilities include monitoring productivity, training staff, resolving escalated issues, and driving efficiency through process improvements and accurate inventory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a distribution center.
• 2+ years of experience in a lead or mentorship role.

Responsibilities

• Monitors productivity of warehouse associates and balances workload to meet production and delivery goals.
• Provides training and tools for warehouse associates to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Acts as point-of-contact for escalated issues and ensures smooth warehousing functions.
• Identifies process improvements to enhance DC performance and department effectiveness.
• Evaluates the DC’s alignment for efficiency and inventory management.
• Ensures associates maintain clean work areas and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Completes paperwork and productivity reports.
