Job summary

Giant Eagle, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Supervisor to lead the distribution center team in a fast-paced, unionized setting in Ohio. You will drive performance, coach staff on safety, and maintain strong relationships with stores, vendors, and Union representatives.

You will oversee daily operations, monitor performance with reporting tools, and support special projects while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a distribution/warehouse setting.
• Proven ability to lead teams, coach performance, and drive safety.
• Experience coordinating with internal departments and union representatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Distribution Center Team Members to meet production goals in a unionized environment using labor and inventory management systems.
• Maintain an active presence on the warehouse floor to coach performance, promote safety, and enforce company, labor, and regulatory policies.
• Collaborate with internal departments, stores, vendors, and Union representatives to ensure smooth operations and strong working relationships.
• Monitor performance through reporting tools, resolve issues proactively, escalate when necessary, and support special projects as assigned.
