You will perform technical evaluations, update specifications, and write design standards to support electric distribution across regions. The role requires collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and customers, along with field inspections and emergency response readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering plus 2 years civil/structural engineering experience.
• Demonstrates strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of structural loads, stresses, and applicable codes.
• Experience reviewing submittals and performing structure design/analysis.
• Driver's license required or per NY requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review structures to ensure safe operation for existing and new works.
• Perform technical evaluations and update engineering specifications.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to provide guidance.
• Manage projects requiring customized engineering solutions and perform field inspections.
• Prepare analyses, failure reviews, and issue resolutions; update specs for distribution structures.
