Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for operations of the production section, including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control, and marketing support.
• Function as Project Manager and take responsibility for production on projects in addition to management responsibilities.
• Take administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sections.
• Be involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviews.
• Be directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production and related issues.
• Ensure all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through a proactive project management system.
• Implement, monitor and support company policy.
• Select, train, develop and manage technical personnel.
• Manage and develop multidisciplinary teams.
• Work cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production efforts.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Preferably Electrical, but other degrees will be considered with relevant experience.
• Professional Engineering (PE) License.
• A license/certification (PMP or similar) is a plus.
• Experience with industry software including CYMCAP, ETAP, EasyPower, Polywater Pull Planner, PLS‑CADD, Spida Calc, Pole Foreman, etc.
• 4 + years of distribution design experience including planning studies, coordination studies, wiring sizing, and a general understanding of constructability.
• 10 + years of overall experience including prior project management and staff management experience.
• Excellent client management skills, marketing and business development skills, with contacts/relationships with power delivery clients.
• Previous experience managing staff, clients, contracts, and hiring staff for an engineering consulting firm.
• Self‑driven and motivated individual who can network, generate new work, recruit, and grow a team.

Salary Range: Spokane, WA $113,117 – $161,595; Bellevue/Seattle, WA $142,884 – $204,120.
