Position Details:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage 10–20 projects from inception to completion.
  • Review initial scopes and collaborate with Engineering and Client stakeholders to develop detailed project work plans.
  • Create outage requests and work plans with SMEs and contractors.
  • Support procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Coordinate permitting reviews and submissions.
  • Develop RFP packages for bids, including scopes, schedules, and permits.
  • Evaluate bids and recommend awards.
  • Lead project meetings and monitor progress, schedule, and milestones.
  • Oversee pre-energization and project closeout activities.
  • Build relationships with construction teams through on-site presence and communication.
  • Maintain project schedules and budgets, and provide regular updates.
  • Utilize client systems for documentation and reporting.
  • Ensure clear communication across teams and stakeholders.
  • This role involves approximately 80% office work and 20% field work.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • At least 5 years managing distribution line or substation projects, with responsibility for cost and schedule.
  • Technical knowledge in substations, transmission, or telecom networks.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Ability to travel within a 1–3 hour radius of the location.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
