Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Distribution Project Manager in Ann Arbor, MI. The role focuses on leading distribution engineering services, utility programs, and EPC projects across the United States, delivering high-quality outcomes for client utilities.

You'll collaborate with engineering and business leaders, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and grow the Distribution organization while maintaining a client-centric, risk-managed approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience supporting electric utility, distribution, EPC, or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of assigned distribution projects, portfolios, or programs with accountability for scope, schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for assigned clients, coordinating priorities, decisions, deliverables, and expectations while building long-term relationships.
• Establish clear communication protocols and lead regular client meetings and reporting on scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, decisions, and action items.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues; drive timely decisions to keep project delivery on track.
• Mentor junior team members and support staffing, planning, and delivery of a growing distribution portfolio.
