The AES Corporation is offering a Distribution Planning Internship for Summer 2027 in Dayton, OH. The role involves evaluating the distribution network, forecasting system needs, and developing grid solutions to maintain safe, reliable service in the near and long term.

As an intern you will perform Load Flow and Short Circuit analysis, identify system constraints, collaborate with staff engineers on complex studies, and develop practical solutions to system needs.

Formación

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 required or preferred.
• Ability to work multiple non-contiguous co-op sessions.
• Previous work experience in Engineering is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proven leadership experience is valued.
• Excellent time management is important.

Distribution Planning is responsible for evaluating the current state of the electric distribution network, forecasting future system needs, and developing grid solutions that maintain safe, reliable service in both the near term and long term.

As an intern in this organization you will:
