Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician Distribution Specialist to join our Central Pharmacy in LaGrange, KY. You will fill replenishment orders for hospitals and affiliates, handle medication distribution tasks under pharmacist supervision, and support automation systems while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities include station inspections, stock management, and training of new staff.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy will be required upon hire.
National certification as a pharmacy technician (PTCB) is required.

Responsibilities

Fill inventory replenishment orders for various BH facilities.
Perform medication warehouse distribution tasks including receiving, repackaging, packing, auditing and shipping under supervision.
Inspect stations, check in and stock medications, and perform required calculations.
Support pharmacists in maintaining medication security and compliance with regulations.
Assist in maintaining automation systems and monitor waste for cost savings.
Restock returned medications and ensure proper temperature packaging per season.
Assist training of new staff and promote efficient workflow to minimize out dates.
Contribute to inventory management including ordering, receiving, stocking, and physical counts.
