Job summary

AnovoRx in Memphis, TN is seeking a Distribution Pharmacist to oversee dispensing and packaging of medications in compliance with federal and state laws. You will supervise pharmacy operations and personnel, ensure accurate picking and shipping, and maintain required documentation.

The role emphasizes regulatory adherence, patient confidentiality, and collaboration with the PIC backup. A valid pharmacist license and 1+ year of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree (B.Pharm/PharmD) with 1+ year of pharmacy experience.
• Current unrestricted license/registration in required states.
• Willing to work any 8-hour shift between 7am–7pm.
• Willing to cover on-call rotation as needed.
• Professional in person and on the phone; clear written communication.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Adhere to confidentiality and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dispensing, pharmacy operations, and staff.
• Supervise medication preparation and dispensing in Distribution.
• Serve as backup to PIC.
• Comply with FDA mandates and manufacturer restrictions.
• Maintain documentation per federal/state regulations and policy.
• Dispense pharmaceuticals including biotech drugs.
• Provide drug information and ensure licensure paperwork.
• Participate in quality/improvement programs.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Represent the organization professionally.
• Attend work regularly.
