Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience directing staff in receiving, picking, packing, and stowing.
• Knowledge of safety and security practices per OSHA and DLA standards.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licenses/certifications for MHE.
• Familiarity with supervisory certification programs.

Responsibilities

• Directs employees in distribution processes to meet production goals.
• Evaluates work for effectiveness and efficient use of personnel, materials, and methods.
• Manages administrative duties including approving leave and identifying training needs.
• Establishes deadlines, sets priorities, and coordinates with other supervisors.
• Operates MHE such as forklifts (up to 10,000 lbs), warehouse tractors, and stock selectors.
• Ensures safety and security practices are implemented in accordance with OSHA and DLA standards.
