Job summary

Veritiv Corporation is seeking a Supervisory leader to plan, direct, and monitor day-to-day distribution center activities. You will lead a team to ensure accurate shipping, receiving, and warehousing while driving efficiency and customer service excellence.

As part of the leadership team, you will contribute to strategic goals and safety culture, manage staffing, and partner with stakeholders to deliver reliable packaging and facility solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising distribution center operations and staff.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations (DOT, OSHA, HazMat).
• Proven ability to optimize efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise distribution center tasks to ensure goods are shipped, received, stored, and recorded accurately.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and optimize cost effectiveness.
• Analyze warehouse metrics and prepare reports using Microsoft Office and existing systems.
• Supervise and lead a team.
• Monitor and adjust employee schedules and workloads to enhance efficiencies.
• Participate in the hiring process and manage distribution center staff.
• Ensure the highest level of customer service and develop methods to improve quality.
• Motivate the team and uphold safety as per HS&E policies.
