Job summary

Veritiv is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a distribution center team in Phoenix, ensuring accurate shipping, receiving and inventory control. You will drive efficiency, schedule optimization and staff development while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Partner with leadership to meet financial and strategic goals, uphold HS&E standards, and oversee safe operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires hands-on supervision and a focus on process improvement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory/management experience required to motivate and develop direct reports.
• High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate/Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with warehouse operations, delivery, traffic, and government regulations (DOT, OSHA, HazMat) is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interview skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise distribution center tasks to ensure accurate shipping, receiving, storage and recording.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
• Analyze warehouse metrics and prepare reports using Microsoft Office and existing systems.
• Lead and motivate a team; manage schedules and workloads.
• Support hiring and development of DC staff.
• Ensure high levels of customer service and strive to improve service quality.
• Promote safety culture and enforce HS&E policies.
• Drive achievement of local and company goals through accountability.
• Communicate and elevate safety issues as needed.
