Job Summary

Under direct supervision, maintains the integrity of the organization’s warehouses by receiving, storing, picking, loading, and distributing products and POS materials within the warehouse.

Essential Job Duties
  1. Accurately load and unload trailers of palletized and non-palletized products and POS materials using manual and power handling equipment.
  2. Sort and place products or POS materials on racks or shelves according to designated locations.
  3. Assemble customer orders from stock, palletize, wrap, and prepare for shipping.
  4. Label incoming products with identifying information (Date Code, Product Description, Code, Case Count).
  5. Label outgoing products with Route #/BIN Location and Pallet Count.
  6. Verify received product and POS materials.
  7. Use RF scanning and voice picking equipment during checkout according to guidelines.
  8. Operate material handling equipment to transport items within the warehouse.
  9. Prepare for daily cycle count inventory and shopping activities.
  10. Complete daily maintenance checks on power equipment and report issues.
  11. Follow safety, food safety, and hygiene guidelines for housekeeping and personal protection.
  12. Maintain a clean work area, remove trash, and store supplies properly.
  13. Keep aisles and exits clear.
  14. Follow safe lifting procedures and report defective equipment.
  15. Report injuries or property damage to supervision.
  16. Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives like 5S.
  17. Perform other duties as required.
Education/Experience

High School Diploma or GED and/or one year of experience.

Physical Requirements

Regularly stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally sit, climb, or balance. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally over 100 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and outside weather. Noise level is usually moderate.
