Job summary

Campbell's is hiring for a warehouse associate to support our distribution operations. You will load and unload trailers, pick and pack orders, and prepare shipments while using RF scanning and voice-picking equipment. The role may require standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds, with potential overtime.

Hours are typically 2pm to 10:30pm with possible overtime. Base pay is $22.50 per hour, and total rewards include health and wellness benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and/or one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately loads and unloads trailers and handles POS material using manual and power equipment.
• Sorts and places products or POS material on racks or shelves in designated locations.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and prepares pallets for shipping; wraps pallets with stretch film.

Under direct supervision,maintains the integrity of theorganization’swarehouses, receives, stores, picks, loadsand distributes products and POS materials within the warehouse.

Essential Job Duties

Accurately loads and unloads trailers of palletized and non-palletized product and POS material.Utilizes manual and power material handling equipment.

Sorts and placesproductsor POS materialson racksorshelvesaccording to predetermineddesignated locations.

Accurately assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets,wrapspallets with stretchfilmand preparesfor shipping.

Marks/labelsin coming productswith identifying information.(Date Code, Product Description and Code, Case Count)

Marks/labelsoutgoingproduct with identifying information. (Route #/BIN Location, Pallet Count)

Verifiesamounts ofproduct/POS materialsreceived.

Usestechnology (RF scanning and voice picking equipment)during local checkout processaccording to Company Operation Guidelines.

Operatesmaterial handling equipment to transport stored items within the warehouse.

Preparesand organizes warehouse for dailycycle count inventoryand shopping activities.

Complete daily maintenance power equipment checklist. Report defective equipment.

Practices and adheres to appropriate safety, food safety and hygiene guidelines/procedures for safe housekeeping and personal protection.

Keeps work area clean and removes trash from work area floor.

Stores supplies in designated areas.

Keeps work area aisles/exits clear and free from obstructions.

Follows instructions for safe lifting/carrying of various sizes, shapes, and weights; identifies/reports defective equipment.

Reports all job-related injuries/property damage to supervision.

Supports and participates in Continuous Improvement initiatives including 5S (sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain).

May perform other duties as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GEDand/or one year of experience.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
