University Hospital is seeking a Distribution/Materials Handler to receive and verify all incoming mail, packages, and supplies, and to ensure prompt, accurate delivery within the University Hospital community.
The role may require transporting mail, packages, and passengers in University Hospital vehicles and maintaining accountability throughout these activities. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, with clerical experience in mailing or delivery helpful.
The primary purpose of the Distribution/Materials Handler position is to receive and verify all incoming mail, packages, supplies, and other items and ensure prompt and accurate delivery of said items from the mailroom and receiving areas to the appropriate departments and or individuals within the University Hospital community. As necessary, transports mail, packages, and passengers in University Hospital vehicles. Ensures accountability is maintained throughout these activities.

In compliance with New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is TS/1375: Probationary Rate: $20.92 - Job Rate: $21.42 - Two (2) Year Rate: $22.07 per hour . University Hospital considers multiple factors when determining compensation, including (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s relevant work experience, education and training, key skills, internal equity, market data, and organizational needs. The expected salary range for this position is in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
