Airgas in Henderson, CO is seeking an experienced Distribution Manager to lead a regional distribution team of 6 Class A drivers. You will ensure safety-first operations, manage scheduling, maintenance, and regulatory compliance across OSHA, DOT, EPA, and FDA guidelines.

Key duties include coordinating with internal customers, optimizing delivery flows, handling incident reporting within 24 hours, and providing hands-on fleet support when needed to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Active CDL Class A required.
• Hazmat endorsement required (Class A Hazmat driving).
• 2 years of management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Deep understanding of OSHA, DOT, EPA, and FDA regulations.

In this role, you will directly manage a team of 6 Class A drivers, ensuring operational excellence while maintaining our unwavering commitment to safety. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, a proven track record in hazardous materials driving, and hands-on ability to assist with fleet operations when needed.Key ResponsibilitiesSafety & Culture: Lead within the Airgas culture by putting safety first. Conduct daily safety meetings, ensure safety rules are strictly observed, schedule and document safety training, and immediately correct unsafe practices or conditions.Team Leadership: Direct, train, motivate, and manage a team of 6 Class A licensed drivers. Handle hiring, performance management, work planning, and conflict resolution to meet or exceed performance targets.Operations & Service: Take full responsibility for the Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost control of the Distribution team.
