Job summary

Groundworks, LLC in Olathe, KS is recruiting a Distribution Manager to oversee the distribution of foundation repair materials and equipment to field operations nationwide. You’ll optimize logistics, inventory control, and distribution processes to ensure timely, accurate deliveries to branches and job sites.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years in distribution or logistics with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of distribution/warehouse/logistics experience, preferably in construction materials.
• Proven leadership of teams in fast-paced distribution environments and strong collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and transportation best practices.
• Experience with WMS/ERP and Microsoft Office; safety and quality mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage all distribution center operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment and shipping.
• Develop and implement distribution strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate logistics and transportation for timely deliveries to branches and sites.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement/manufacturing to maintain stock.
• Lead, train and develop distribution center staff with a focus on safety and performance.
• Utilize WMS and ERP systems to track inventory and streamline workflows.
• Analyze KPIs to identify process improvements and cost savings; report to senior leadership.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations and manufacturing; manage third-party carriers.
