The Oatey Intern Experience for Summer 2027 provides a 12-week program exposing interns to meaningful projects, leadership exposure, and professional networking. Interns will work with the distribution team, analyzing data and supporting KPI reporting in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, supply chain, operations, business, or related field
• Strong analytical skills
• High competency with the Microsoft Office suite of products
• Ability to balance multiple activities in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to work in warehouse setting
• Good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct velocity analyses to identify potentially more efficient options for activities in the distribution network
• Support administrative tasks including collecting and analyzing data for weekly and monthly distribution reports, backorder reports, and other key drivers of performance
• Other activities include supporting new item set‑up, daily review and communication of order fulfillment results, guided development of predictive analytics models, and other support activities
