Job summary

Oatey invites students to join the 2027 Summer Internship Program – The Oatey Intern Experience in Cleveland, OH. This 12-week internship exposes you to distribution, warehousing, and KPI analysis within a collaborative team, with one-on-one mentorship and coaching.

You will conduct velocity analyses, assist data collection for weekly/monthly reports, and participate in developing predictive analytics, with potential for future opportunities at Oatey.

Qualifications

• Education and Certification: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, supply chain, operations, business, or related field
• Strong analytical skills
• High competency level with the Microsoft Office suite of products
• Ability to balance multiple activities in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to work in warehouse setting
• Good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct velocity analyses to identify potentially more efficient options for activities in the distribution network
• Support administrative tasks including, but not limited to collecting and analyzing data for weekly and monthly distribution reports, backorder reports, and other key drivers of performance.
• Other activities include supporting new item set-up, daily review and communication of order fulfillment results, guided development of predictive analytics models, and other support activities.
