Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a full-time Distribution Clerk to support merchandise flow in the Distribution Center. The role handles receiving, stocking, picking, and prepping products for stores, while following established procedures and schedules. Optical knowledge is a plus.

The position emphasizes accuracy in handling goods, teamwork with DC staff, and the ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed. This is a hands-on role within a large eyewear logistics network.

Qualifications

• 1+ year(s) of executive experience in a distribution/warehouse environment.
• Excellent numerical recognition and basic math skills.
• Able to work flexible hours and overtime as requested by supervisors/managers.
• Able to communicate and cooperate with DC associates.
• Able to use pallet jacks, carts, and other material handling equipment.
• Able to lift/carry up to 40 pounds and stand/walk for up to 10 hours.
• Prior distribution center/warehouse experience preferred; optical knowledge or production environment exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job Description

General Function

The Distribution Clerk provides merchandise that is stored in the Distribution Center for distribution to new and existing stores.

Major Duties And Responsibilities

• Receives incoming merchandise/product.
• Processes merchandise/product per the established procedures.
• Stocks merchandise/product to the appropriate location.
• Picks merchandise per the established procedures and replenishment schedule.
• Prepares merchandise/product for new stores.
• Prepares merchandise/product for shipment.
• Completes projects as assigned by DC Supervisor and/or Manager.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ year(s) of executive experience
• Excellent mathematical aptitude/numerical recognition
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested by Supervisors/Manager
• Ability to communicate/cooperate with DC associates
• Ability to use material handling equipment (pallet jacks, carts, etc.)
• Ability to lift/carry up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work in a stand/walk position for up to 10 hours
• Ability to interact professionally with both corporate and non-corporate personnel
• Prior experience in distribution center/warehouse preferred
• Optical knowledge and/or worked in a production environment

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
