Job summary

TH Media in Dubuque, IA is seeking a part-time Distribution Loading Coordinator for third shift. You will coordinate daily loading, manage dock traffic, and ensure accurate distribution of newspapers and related products.

Load and strap items, operate conveyors and pallet jacks, and report equipment issues. Maintain safety, cleanliness, and a customer-focused approach while working with contractors and carriers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic reading, math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving eligibility requirements.
• Attention to detail and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work with contractors, carriers, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support daily loading, dock traffic, and distribution operations.
• Load, strap, label, bag, sort, and prepare newspapers, mail, bundles, and related products for distribution.
• Load bundles and materials onto conveyors, trucks, and other distribution equipment.
• Monitor loading and distribution operations, identifying and reporting equipment issues or service concerns.
• Deliver newspapers, bundles, and related products as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with facility housekeeping during downtime.
• Follow all company safety procedures and participate in required safety training.
• Maintain a customer-focused approach and provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
