Job summary

Milbank Mfg is seeking a Warehouse Associate with forklift certification to load, unload, and move material within the distribution center in Sparks, NV. You will stack, palletize, weigh, and count items, and prepare products for storage or shipment.

The role requires基本 forklift certification, basic computer skills, and the ability to learn Milbank’s shipping systems (IFS, C2K). Strong communication and safety awareness are essential in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

Duties and ResponsibilitiesLoads, unloads, or otherwise moves material in and around the distribution warehouse using a forklift, order picker, pallet jack or hand truck as required.Must be able to stack and/or palletize or otherwise prepare product for storage or shipment.Must be able to weigh and/or physically count to determine quantity received, shipped, or otherwise used in movement of product in the distribution center.Other duties as assigned.Communication:Must be able to communicate with management to receive daily workload and assignments.Must be able to communicate with co-workers to complete all warehouse activities through out the workday which includes shipping of sales orders and material transfer orders, receiving all inbound product, DO and RMA, as well as shipping supplies.Must be able to effectively communicate issues, safety or otherwise, to leadership for review.Safety:Must comply with all safety standards and use all safety equipment in the warehouse.Lean Enterprise:Establish and utilize frameworks and systems, including tools such as visual management, problem solving, standard work and kaizen.Adhere to and promote the HR Pledge.Cooperate and commit in a team environment to achieve goals and deliverables.Resolve difficult or complicated challenges using the problem-solving process.Actively embrace our core principles.CompetenciesTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.Problem solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and skillfully analyzes information.Judgment - Displays a willingness to make decisions, exhibits sound and accurate judgment and makes timely decisions.Planning/organizing - Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently.Computer skills - Must be able to accurately use Windows-based programs.Hours: Regular 40-hour workweek. Must be able to lift material weighing up to 60 pounds, handle product up to 150 pounds and have full range of body motion.
