Job summary

Uline is seeking a Distribution Manager at the Kenosha Branch to lead a 1.5+ million square foot distribution footprint. This hands-on leader will coach managers and frontline staff, drive safety, accuracy and on-time shipping, and partner with cross-functional teams to optimize daily operations.

You will manage inbound, outbound, and supporting activities while shaping a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7+ years leading high-volume distribution operations, including direct leadership of warehouse managers and teams of 400+ people.
• Proven success improving productivity, quality and safety through operational leadership.
• Experience leading with KPIs, performance metrics and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the warehouse floor, working alongside employees to ensure high levels of accuracy, productivity and safety.
• Direct all aspects of day-to-day warehouse operations across inbound, outbound and supporting departments.
• Coach and develop warehouse managers who lead a team of 500+ employees through daily feedback and hands-on leadership.
• Drive operational excellence through accountability and continuous improvement to deliver industry-leading service and same-day shipping.
• Investigate operational challenges, remove barriers and implement practical, data-driven improvements that strengthen warehouse performance.
