Job summary

Staff Perm is seeking a reliable Material Handler for a contract role at our Wilmington, MA facility. The position focuses on receiving, shipping, and inventory management for a global HVAC and refrigeration equipment manufacturer.

The role requires forklift experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, steel toe boots, and successful completion of background checks and drug screening. Schedule runs weekdays with a 7:30am–4:30pm shift and a pay rate of $19.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience required.
• Steel toe boots required.
• Drug test and background check required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver3s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other powered equipment safely.
• Perform manual and clerical tasks related to shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products under general supervision.
• Receive goods, verify items against shipment records, and inspect their condition.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
• Record received and shipped items following established procedures.
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation accurately.
