Job summary
Crescent Electric Supply Company seeks a Distribution Equipment Quotations Specialist in Jeffersonville, IN to quote distribution equipment from plans and specifications and to build Bills of Material for construction projects.
You will interact with contractors, architects, engineers, and owners to recommend products, negotiate pricing with manufacturers and customers, and act as the branch’s technical expert on distribution equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; at least one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination.
- Two-year trade school or four-year college degree strongly recommended.
- Distribution equipment product knowledge and understanding of the bid process.
Responsibilities
- Interact with distribution equipment electrical contractors, architects, engineers, and owners to suggest distribution equipment products to be used on all types of construction projects
- Negotiate pricing with manufacturers and customers.
- Act as source of technical distribution equipment expertise within the branch.
- Collect and analyze quotations data to determine patterns of success or failure. Measure by product type, manufacturer, bidamounts, and customers.
