Leidos is seeking a Distribution Engineering Manager who is passionate about electric utility design engineering to lead and oversee a team within our growing Power Distribution Engineering organization. This role will be responsible for leading distribution engineers and designers in the development of construction work packages for electric distribution systems, while providing technical oversight and QA/QC for both simple and complex engineering projects.
The team will utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, Work Management Systems (WMS), and other client systems to develop high-quality work packages in accordance with client and construction standards. The Distribution Engineering Manager will also oversee activities such as developing bills of materials (BOMs), cost estimating, forestry trimming requests, permitting and Right-of-Way acquisition, easements, and Customer Contribution in Aid of Construction (CIAC) calculations. This role will work directly with clients, provide leadership and guidance to the engineering team, and ensure Leidos’ reputation for high-quality work is maintained.
Location: This position is based in Framingham, MA with a preference for candidates who can work in the office 3–4 days per week. Remote work may be considered for an exceptional candidate, with the expectation of periodic travel to the Framingham office for team meetings, collaboration, and other business needs. The selected candidate must be available to travel to the Framingham office on an as-needed basis.

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
