Job summary

Wabash Valley Power Alliance is seeking a full-time Distribution Engineer to enhance our electric power systems. The successful candidate will perform engineering analyses and design system improvements, ensuring reliability and overall economics.

With a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and relevant experience, you will also manage our Advanced Metering Information platform and investigate new technologies. The position offers a salary range of $70,000–$90,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, technology, or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 2-5 years of experience in operations preferred.
• Familiarity with electric distribution line equipment and materials.

Responsibilities

• Performing engineering analyses for system performance.
• Designing line extensions and improvements.
• Managing the Advanced Metering Information (AMI) platform.
• Investigating new technologies to improve the distribution system.
