Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Distribution Engineer for Reform, AL to onsite role. The position supports design, development, and management of electrical distribution systems, with a 12+ month duration and a pay range of $30-$39 per hour on W2.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's in electrical, civil, or mechanical engineering, strong analytical skills, and experience with distribution system design. Responsibilities span from planning and design to implementation, maintenance, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, civil, or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with distribution system design software is a plus.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to distribution systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for technical challenges.
• Project management experience including planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan distribution systems including electrical power lines.
• Optimize the distribution network for efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage distribution projects from planning to maintenance within budget and schedule.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform load flow, fault analysis, and voltage drop calculations.
• Identify upgrade opportunities and plan maintenance to prevent disruptions.
• Conduct QA reviews of designs and implementations for quality.
